Cultural identity and authentic expression should be at the forefront of fashion and editorial work, something that in my opinion is still quite rare in western media. Global media needs to highlight and empower all voices, identities, and press further into equal representation. I love using editorial to celebrate where people come from, and how they have adapted that into their own personal expression and story. This project focuses on Kenyan-Indian and western fusion of fashion and identity (Nairobi, Kenya, 2022).
